For the record, OSU had PSUs number because their offense has sucked ass the last couple years. I think things will be different this time around, but what do I know.

I DO agree USC is over-rated. The University of Spoiled Children can suck it.

It’s good to see Beanie back. And I heard something today that I hadn’t heard all week: After last week Tressel decided to become more involved with the offense, and specifically the offensive line. I like the sounds of that.

I would say USC is as good as advertised…but ya, they got caught looking ahead. There is no doubt in my mind that in a big game, they beat any team in the top 10 over 50% of the time.

Dinger, it is amazing how many people try to use the transitivity property in CFB, and in sports in general. The funny thing is, they will often be the same people to say “on any given Saturday or Sunday.”

We definitely shouldn’t look too far ahead right now. But with that said, PSU has always and will always be a big game. I think we have the edge being at home this year. Of course, a lot of yards, I hope, to cover before that game.

USC just wasn’t as good as advertised. Yea they beat Ohio State but clearly they weren’t ready for the Beavers. USC was already looking ahead to the National Title..

I love it Dinger. Of course, we wouldn’t stand a chance if we played Ohio State away but if we were to play in the Shoe, the Buckeyes would destroy Ohio State.

FlibBuckeye also brings up a great point. I’ve been saying for some time that we need to just forget about the BCS and go back to the old days of PAC 10 vs. Big 10 in the Rose Bowl.

So we could see a USC/OSU rematch in the Rose Bowl, then next fall would be the rematch of the rematch.

So tell me, do you pack your lunch or ride the bus to school?

I can’t wait until we beat Penn St. After the game we will be able to say, Ohio St beat Penn St, Penn St beat Oregon St, Oregon St beat USC and USC beat Ohio St so clearly Ohio St would beat the shit out of Ohio St, especially if Ohio St had to travel and play Ohio St in their house.

And I will love using this to point out the idiocy of the “We beat tech and tech beat southern and southern beat state and state beat you so my team is light years better than yours” arguments that take place each and every year.
