Ohio State/Penn State Quick Hits

by Annapolisbuckeye on October 24, 2008

Just thought I’d hit you with some quick links today as we head into the big game:

Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark — sloppy seconds?

At Tuesday’s press luncheon, Coach Tressel mentioned that they knew Clark well from recruiting days. A reporter pointed out that Clark had academic problems that made the Buckeyes pass him by. Tressel didn’t follow up on it. The Columbus Dispatch has the story here.

Jenkins fired up to finish season strong

Dispatch has another story today about Jenkins motivating the troops and playing hard. No question we could see it thlast couple weeks. Let’s hope it continues from here.

Before there was “We Are…” there was “O-H-I-O”

Penn State blog “There Is No Name on My Jersey” takes a shot at Tressel and his Sea of Red comments. They seem to think they’re the only ones who can pull of their little white out. Just remember Penn State, you’re “We Are” cheer comes out of envy of the Buckeyes.

Michigan fans have resorted to nostalgia

When glory days are all you’ve got.

Penn State fans still having trouble adjusting to the #3 spot

Don’t worry, it won’t last long. When Michigan is a big deal…good cartoon though.

That’s all for now. Enjoy and GO BUCKEYES!!

Kudos to PSU. It was a hard fought game and the game changing play went to them. Not much more can be said than that.
