The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to beef up their non-conference schedule announcing today that they’ve added a home and home series with Oregon. The Buckeyes, who are currently 8-0 against the Nike Ducks, will be looking to extend their record during the 2020-2021 season.
This yet another announcement in a string of recent schedule confirmations as the Buckeyes make good on their commitment to playing a challenging non-conference schedule. Other home and home series to look forward to include include TCU, Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Virginia Tech along with the second half of the series with Cal.
Unlike other college football divisions that rely on media hype, the Buckeyes are making it a point to prove that they are No. 1. Say what you will about Gene Smith, I love what he’s doing with the schedule.

NOTHING FROM TONY?!
You know I don’t trash talk TPB.
2020 is way too far in the future for me. Plus …… tOSU will probably back out like Kansas State did this year and Georgia did last year.
“You know I don’t trash talk TPB.”
Good joke. My “imaginary wife” says hi.
I missed the part where Ohio State was located in Athens, Georgia and Manhattan, Kansas as well.
TPB – Unfortunatly tOSU is bowl banned this year. If the Ducks don’t make it to the NCG then (if they win out) they will be going back to the Rose Bowl. We very well could have had a rematch this year. Nonetheless …… I have a feeling that we will play each other more than once before the 2020 season.
P.S. – Thank your wife for thinking about me -
I’ll tell her. She’s only around in the shower though.
On second thought ……. forget it.
