Oh…I’m just getting started. Plenty more where this came from. You can see my original commentary on the Miami vs. Florida International Fight here.

Maybe u should put up a video of the 2001 Miami Hurricanes team A.K.A the greatest college football team of all time
Yeah, the Dorsey lead offense was impressive. Until of course, they met the Ohio State defense. Dorsey had what, maybe one career sack up to that game? Buckeyes got to him on the first possession of the Fiesta Bowl. One of many times that night they got to Dorsey that night. Not that it’s a good thing but he did his post game interviews from a hospital bed. He’d never been hit like that and the Maimi offense didn’t know what to do when they were.
wrong season
Yes!… Let’s dig up some history. Great Moments in Ohio State Football History – Part I
Your blog won’t let me post a video, so I’ll add the address here. Remember Woody Hayes against Clemson? Let’s keep digging!

The kid should have known better than to intercept a pass in front of Woody.
But seriously, you’ve got to go back 30+ years? I’ll give you that this is (or at least should) be a different time for Miami. There’s a new coach and it’s a new era…right? I sure hope so because it can’t get much worse than that.
I’ve been meaning to dig out my Phoenix newspaper from the day after the Ohio State/Miami Fiesta Bowl but may let it pass. The comments from the Miami players are just amazing.
It’s easy to get caught up in the OSU hype….if you are forced to live in Ohio. Reality will hit you with a force you cannot imagine. Board up the shoe, a Hurricane is coming. You can talk all you want about Miami going 9-4 last year and how great you think your QB is. This fact remains: The Canes are coming with the sole purpose of owning the shoe…and they will put a boot in your collective asses along the way. Be warned. Be prepared. No talk. No excuses.
I look forward to your post-game sobs and whimpering.
