Say it ain’t so Lydell!!
Former Ohio State tailback Lydell Ross’s National Championship ring is currently up for auction on ebay!!!
The auction opened on Sept. 18th and as of Sept. 21, it has a bid of $6,002.11 with a little less than three days to go. Personally, I find this cheap. While the bidding started at $100, the current bid seems more like a starting bid. While I have grave concerns as to why this ring is on ebay, I cannot believe that this ring won’t go well into the five figure range.
It isn’t clear who is selling the ring, how he/she got the ring or why it is for sale but he/she is also selling a legendary gold pants charm from the 2005 OSU/Michigan game (currently at $565). The seller says that he/she will reveal the initials on the pants only to the winner of the auction after payment is received.
