The college football world waited with anticipation last night to see the unveiling of the Oregon Ducks new uniforms. Always a leader in college football fashion, this year’s line is a throwback to the minimalist uniforms of a bygone era. Subtly clad in white, the uniforms pay tribute to the school mascot with abstract feather designs on the shoulder pads.
For those of you who didn’t see last night’s game, as the players walked off the field, Boise State quarterback Byron Hout took a moment to compliment Oregon running back Lagerrette Blount on this year’s uniform. Blount was more then flattered and went out of his way to show Hout a close up of the new shoulder logo.
You can see it all in the video below:

Just a hunch, but that guy has to be gone for several games, maybe the season. It’s one thing to punch some guy from the other team, which is bad enough once the game is over, but then to go and hit one of your own teammates? No place for a guy like that. I wouldn’t be surprised to see formal criminal charges filed against this guy, and deservedly so.
Cheap shot by someone with no class. He should be out for weeks. When he went after the fans and the cops had to step in, that is seriously wrong.
