I’m afraid that once again, I won’t be here (I’m at the game) but thanks to Jeff at the BBC for putting this together.

I agree the players played their hearts out. They played hard enough to win. Several coaching mistakes kept USC in the game (never a good idea). After USC missed a field close to the end of the first half, OSU could have used clock and gone in at half up 10-7 (remember we lost by three). In the second half, even the our punter wondered why he shouldn’t come off the filed and put the field goal team in. Make it, and we go up by 11 (remember, it would have been 15-7 at the time instead of 15-10, if not for the mistake in the first half. Even with the miracle drive and plus two, it would have ended 18-15, the other way, an OSU victory. I will say this… Pryor was not as sharp as he could be, but it just might be that the offensive calls are tying his hands. The Buckeyes had the talent and the effort enough to win. I put this one on the the coaches. Just ike the kids need to learn from experience, I would hope the coaches do the same thing. Go Bucks!!! OH-IO!

I agree with you Mark. It is painful to see the players give it their all and the coaching cost them the game.

If you haven’t already, check out the discussion on this post: http://www.thebuckeyeblog.com/usc-didnt-win-ohio-state-lost/.
