@KyleRowland, a writer at Buckeyegrove.com recently posted this picture of the 2012 Ohio State football schedule which hangs in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. I don’t know if Meyer had anything to do with it but it goes a long way in my book.

I just read an article on the Ozone that exemplifies why I don’t think Coach Meyer can fail at Ohio State. Check out the article entitled “Meyer Looking for Teachers, Not ‘Presenters’”
With an attitude like that… he cannot fail.

Dave, I never said that Urban wasn’t a good coach. As a matter of fact ….. he has proven to be a “winner” at every stop. I JUST DON’T LIKE THE GUY.
Safe to say …… If I asked any Buckeye 6 months ago what they thought of Uran Meyer ….. 99.9% of them would have said the same thing. At least I had some respect for Jim Tressel and believe that he has some admirable qualities. I can’t say the same about Urban Meyer.

Even presidential approval ratings can rebound, Tony. That 99.9% statistic is some fascinating hyperbole though.
The only reason why it is “rebounding” ……. is because he is now YOUR coach. Sorry TPB, I don’t think that I could stomach the thought of Oregon hiring Pete Carroll. I have been a life long Seahawks fan and started going to games in the late 70′s with my dad. I have not gone to a game or even watched one on TV since they hired Pete Carroll. I could never turn the Ducks off quite like that. I would still support the program …… but, would be counting down the days until we could free ourselves of this virus.
I’ve never seen a problem with Urban Meyer aside from the Spikes incident.
Unlike Pete Carroll to Oregon, Urban Meyer also has ties that span decades to Ohio State. I don’t know why this is so wildly hard to accept.
