Proving once again that sports writers should not drink and write, Pete Fiutak has attempted to give 10 reasons why Ohio State is not number one. I will give Fiutak this, he apparently is a AP voter and he says that he did vote Ohio State number 1 so I guess we could look at his column as satire.
Fiutak admits to being a little drunk when he wrote the column but even that doesn’t excuse some of it. For example, he writes for reason number two why Ohio State is not #1:

The cold, calculating, unfeeling, uncaring computers in the BCS formula are supposed to take all subjectivity out of the equation. How many of the six have Ohio State No. 1? One. Who’s number one in five of the six polls? …
Am I missing something here? Are there five polls I don’t know about? Satire?
