The game with New Mexico state proved nothing, but did give the offense some needed experience at scoring more than 2 touchdowns (needs to become a habit, not wishful thinking). I think this game will be a defensive struggle with the Buckeyes coming out on top by a small margin. The defense will be stout and the offense will do just enough to make the game more exciting than it need be. Go Bucks!! OH-IO

This is the game that makes me the most nervous. I think Michigan has proven to again be just a mediocre team and I really believe Iowa is winning with smoke and mirrors. When it comes down to it, I think Iowa will prove it’s still Iowa.
But, since a mid-season slip up to Iowa, Penn State has been playing very well and unless we can keep constant pressure and make Clark pick himself up off of the ground many many times, it could be a very long day for the Buckeyes. I wouldn’t count on the offense to be able to break 20, so unless defense and special teams step up, it could get ugly.
Having said that, I still think the Buckeyes are headed to the Rose Bowl, but they really need to step up and step up big.

Maybe the low block on Pettrey was payback for the onside kick. The refs sure didn’t call a penalty. I agree with your thoughts on the Penn State game. Pressure, pressure, pressure by the defense and lets hope the offense shows up. Hope it dosen’t come down to a field goal to win.
