Jim, as info ….. my internal spam blocked any comment that I would possibly make re: this video. I think it is time to “slow my roll” and embrace my inner RoboDuck. I hope tOSU has a great season (before you lose scholarships) and we play you again in the Rosebowl. Damn … that one slipped through.
Love this video. Here’s hoping we meet somewhere, Tony. Not thinking a bowl game will happen this season for us, but if it does let’s hope the Rose Bowl… or New Orleans.
The BuckeyeNation supports its young men who will strive to become the class act we so sorely need — best quote of the clip “While you sleep, we get better.”
Oh yeah, for Tony tQD — (this is archive material) — another turd we must handle without sanitary barrier protection. But we do it with a sense of ‘it’s our mess, and we don’t ask other to clean it for us’ …
http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2011/06/97-seconds-of-contrition?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ElevenWarriors+%28Eleven+Warriors%29
[note the multitude of places we are .. we = the BuckeyeNation.]
Stay strong Buckeye Nation, I love this video. There is no doubt we will be stronger on the othe side of this mess. I expect 10-11 wins this year, and a Leaders divition championship. If we get to play in the first Big Tem championship game is yet to be decided. Tony I would love nothing more than playing the Robo Ducks, of course the out come will be the same.
Does any of my Buckeye Bros. know or can speculate who will call the offensive plays? Luke Fickell is defensive coach, it should be intersting to see what develops.
Carl ….. much of the Ducks season will depend on our opener against LSU on Sept 3rd. If we can get past them (without Cliff Harris) then I think we will be in the drivers seat for another run at the National Championship. If we lose ….. then I think we end up at the Rose Bowl. A tough loss to tOSU in 2010 and another tough loss against Auburn in 2011. This doesn’t bode well for whoever we meet in 2012. We are due ….. a big win.
Tony,
I never even realized LSU’s very first game was against your Ducks. Heck of a first game for both teams. Where is it being played? If it’s being played in Baton Rouge, the Duck’s best bet will be in the daytime hours. Night games in Baton Rouge are a nightmare for anyone.
Gonzo …. The game is being played at Cowboys Stadium which is about 200 miles away from LSU. So, basically this game is being played in their back yard and they will be very well represented. ESPN has LSU ranked preseason at 4 and the Ducks at 5. I think we missed the memo about lining up a bunch of “sisters of the poor” schools to prop up our record. This may be the most important game of the year for us. Then again ……. they are all “the most important” …… I love this game.
Of course, it looks like the LSU game just got a bit harder now that Speed Racer, I mean Cliff Harris, is out for at least that game.
On another note, I’m not sure if this has been talked about by anyone or not, but after watching Luke Fickel’s press conference replay on ESPN yesterday morning, it absolutely blowed my mind how much this guy favors Adam Sandler. Are you kidding me? This guy would pass for Sandler’s twin brother. (only more serious)
Same haircut, same narrow face, same tight skin, same eyes, same nose, same mouth, same everything, just taller.
Anyhow, Adam is one of my favorite comedian actors, so I noticed this immediately. Anyone else notice this right away?
Jim,
Chip Kelly suspended All American Cliff Harris indefinately. Cliff is our star defensive player and returner. This is a huge loss for us. At the very least …… he will be out the LSU season opener and this is probably the game that will determine whether we get back for another shot at the National Championship. This was entirely the coaches decision and the University was not consulted. I make this point because I see some similarities between the what happened with tOSU’s tat5 and whats happening with Cliff Harris. I don’t think Cliff’s crime of driving with a suspended license and speeding comes close to what tOSU players were involved with …. but, both Chip and JT set the tone of their programs. Chip didn’t even wait until the University completed its investigation. JT played his guys at the Sugar Bowl while Chip is risking a loss (and possibly a NC) to do “the right thing”. JT could have made the decision to suspend the Tat5 …. but he didn’t. Instead ….. they tried to get the NCAA to reduce the penalties. I think that these two situations are a good compare and contrast of our two football programs. I don’t think the NCAA will find any huge violation here though. Stupid kid and a isolated incident.
http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2011/06/oregon_coach_chip_kelly_suspen.html
You’re right, Tattoos are much worse than speeding at 100+ mph. I mean, have you ever seen a tattoo accident. Nothing worse than an innocent bystander on his way to work getting caught up in that.
And of course, I knew you would be quick to point out the integrity of Chip Kelly doing the right thing. Of course, he wasn’t asked by the police officer who wrote the ticket to maintain confidentiality due to an ongoing legal investigation.
The car he was driving, Pryor was able to show legitimate sales receipt. I’m sure Harris will also.
Just wondering, Harris has three other speeding tickets — are they also in the 40+ mph over speed limit range? If so, I’m sure he didn’t get any preferential treatment there. And seeing how his license is suspended, it wasn’t too hard for him to find someone to rent a car for him — school employee or not.
Hmm…loss of institutional control? Never.
Seriously Jim ….. you can’t try to make the argument that what Cliff Harris is caught doing was worse than TP. Look at the facts: TP sells autographs and gear (owned by tOSU=theft) and takes other free swag to the tune of $40,000 per year. Cliff Harris gets some bimbo to rent his buddy a car (they gave her the money for the rental) …. and he is caught speeding. This bimbo has nothing to do with the football program and she is not a booster. I don’t know why she rented the car for him…. could be friendship…. could be romantic … could be a fan ….. could just be stupid. The University of Oregon did not sanction, condone or enable this type of behavior. Cliff has an isolated incident and the last time I checked …. speeding in a car is not a NCAA rules violation. Meanwhile, TP broke NCAA rules over and over again (atleast 25-35 times) by signing gear for cash. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Lets look at the loss of institutional control issue. On multiple occassions TP was caught speeding in car(s) loaned to him by Kniffin (free-NCAA RULES VIOLATION). JT’s response: do nothing – win games. Cliff Harris is caught speeding in a car loaned to his friend ( who says he paid the rental costs – NOT FREE). Chip’s response: suspend the player indefinately – put season at risk.
Until Chip proves me wrong …… yes, he is a man of integrity and seems to always do the right thing. There is a big difference between talking about integrity and actually doing it. Chip does it and has not tried to cover up or make excuses for his players mistakes.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6637444
Yeah, I can actually make the argument that not just Cliff Harris but the University of Oregon is worse than what is going on at Ohio State — or at least on par. What is so amazing is that the Oregon openly acknowledged paying approximately $20,000 above the limits allowed by the NCAA rules as if the rules don’t apply to them (NCAA RULES VIOLATION).
It’s hard to claim a loss of institutional control when you are so ignorant of the rules that you don’t even recognize that you violated them.
Not sure where you’re getting the $40,000 number but I understand how it works, guilty until proven innocent. I’m not out to defend Terrell Pryor. I will defend his coach and The Ohio State University though.
As for Kniffin, he has nothing to do with the football program, is not a booster and yet somehow, in your mind this is somehow different than with Harris. Unlike Kiffen, Harris received his car from an employee of the university, with or without their knowledge.
In your mind though, apparently Ohio State is at fault even though the dealership (and the University when they investigated at the time of the traffic violations) has records that they had Pryor’s car in for repairs. Apparently, unlike everyone else who walks into the dealership, Pryor is not allowed to drive a loaner car while his is in their shop.
As for the car he’s driving now – NOT FREE. Again, the sales receipt and loan payment has been made public.
Facts like that don’t fit your narrative so you conveniently forget them. I guess you only need to be proved wrong when it comes to Chip.
As for the “bimbo” who arranged a car for Harris, could it be that she is just an individual who wants to be close to an all-star football player? Apparently, that’s acceptable at Oregon even though it’s just as much an NCAA violation there as it is at Ohio State.
Tressel’s immediate response to the five players and the Sugar Bowl, don’t let them play. Sugar Bowl had some different thoughts about that. You’re good at researching this site, go back and look it up. Tressel didn’t want them to get off the hook. He felt they shouldn’t play which is consistent with his actions over the years at OSU. When NCAA cleared them to play, he went to his team leaders and together they decided what to do.
Cliff Harris has an entire sleeve of tattoos. Of course, I’m sure that he would never have accepted a discount for his tattoos. Even if the tattoo artist was a huge fan or wanted the business that the free advertising would bring. Oregon has too much integrity for something like that.
Jim,
I understand you’re just being defensive in the name of your school right now after being wrong on about 90% of the latest events that’s unfolded over the past few months, but gee whiz, can your arguments get any thinner?
The approach of trying to pull other schools into your own schools self induced mess makes you look desperate.
All eyes are on Ohio State right now, remember that. It isn’t Oregon’s fault. It isn’t Arkansas’s fault. It isn’t Auburn’s fault. It isn’t the medias fault. It isn’t the Pope’s fault either.
You can try and smooth over this gigantic tOSU Cluster F$$k all you want, but when you wake up in the morning, nothing has changed. The mistakes Tressell, Pryor, the other tat 4, Gee, Smith, and the rest of whoever else was close to the situation will always be held accoutable , no one else.
Also, did you here your new head coach state the other day that he knew nothing of what went on at OSU until the reports came out?
Please don’t tell me (after all that’s been proven already) that you’re still nieve enough to buy into that load of crap as well.
Fickel is a protesha of Jim Tressell and developed said position over a course of the last 10 years. They knew each other well. Their families knew each other well.
Tressell didn’t speak the truth on important issues that mattered to his superiors unless they had given their approval. The same goes for Luke Fickel.
Gonzo, give the new guy a break. You know nothing of what youspeak, Luke Fickell hasn’t coached a game, Your making alot of assumtions for which you have no knowledge. Make sure you don’t make an ass out of yourself.
Thanks for the advice, (if that’s what you want to call it) but common sense has nothing to do with making any kind of any assumption, so speak for yourself and your own image. I certainly couldn’t do any worse.
Jim,
Why are you making me work so hard here! Lets start with your disinformation about Oregon violated NCAA rules by paying $20,000 above the limits. Here is the actual rule:
NCAA Bylaw 13.14.3 states that an “institution may subscribe to a recruiting or scouting service involving prospective student-athletes, provided the institution does not purchase more than one annual subscription to a particular service and the service: (Adopted:
1/1/02, Revised: 1/16/10)
(a) Is made available to all institutions desiring to subscribe and at the same fee rate for all subscribers;
(b) Publicly identifies all applicable rates;
(c) Disseminates information (e.g., reports, profiles) about prospective student-athletes at least four times per calendar year;
(d) Publicly identifies the geographical scope of the service (e.g., local, regional, national) and reflects broad-based coverage of the geographical area in the information it disseminates;
(e) Provides individual analysis beyond demographic information or rankings for each prospective student-athlete in the information it disseminates; (Revised: 4/13/10)
(f) Provides access to samples or previews of the information it disseminates before purchase of a subscription; and
(g) Provides video that is restricted to regularly scheduled (regular-season) high school, preparatory school or two-year college contests and for which the institution made no prior arrangements for recording. (Note: This provision is applicable only if the subscription includes video services.)
What am I missing? Nowhere in this bylaw states that there is a limit of what you can pay for these service. Here are a few of a few other schools and it doesn’t look like Oregon is out of line at all.
2010 – Tennesse spent $177,697 on scouting services / XOS – was paid $55,000
2010 – Alabama spent $80,977
2010 – Oregon spent $56,000
UGA- paid 1 scouting company (Blue Chip Athletic Solutions) 2008-$35,500 / 2009-$35,700 / 2010- $11,000 –
These are the schools that spent the most on their recruiting budget last year (oh-oh …. I see tOSU on this list)
1 Auburn $1,129,984.00 1.24%
2 Oregon $844,235.00 1.29%
3 TCU $438,422.00 0.84%
4 Stanford $754,689.00 0.92%
5 Wisconsin $473,897.00 0.53%
6 Ohio State $676,966.00 0.65%
7 Oklahoma $1,010,570.00 1.14%
8 Arkansas $1,187,216.00 1.65%
9 Michigan State $677,958.00 1.10%
10 Boise State $158,355.00 0.63%
Oregon ….. has been completely above board with their recruiting. Use of service/payments went through our compliance dept …. checks were cut and notated in our books. At this point I don’t see where Oregon has done anything different than other programs. The question is …. Did Lyles provide a service to Oregon or did he simply influence a player to come to our University. Seeing how Texas, LSU, CAL, Boise, etc have all payed Lyles for his services …. he is either somewhat legit or all of these other schools are crooked. Maybe we will find out that he is somewhere in between.
*Terrelle Pryor netting up to $40,000 for signatures …… see espn link posted above your comments (I don’t make this stuff up as I go).
* The bimbo should be fired. This is absolutely not OK with the University and our compliance dept is investigating it. That said ….. Chip didn’t need to wait until the “investigation” was complete to apply the penalty. Cliff Harris has embarrassed himself ant the University. Suspended.
*Who was the coach of tOSU? JT or the Sugar Bowl committe? JT had the decision and the Buck stopped with him. He played his guys.
*Point well taken about Cliff Harris’s tats. I believe that he has a severe lack of judgement and if he thought he could get away with it …… he would take the discounts (maybe already has). But isn’t the real point here that JT knew about the violations and used ineligible players to win football games ….. then lied continously to cover up his tracks.
Actually, my point is that you’re throwing a lot of stones for a guy living in a glass house. I think if anything, you should be thanking Ohio State. Because they are known as an organization of very high integrity, the entire college football world is having a great time jumping all over this.
As a result, the spotlight has been pulled from other, possibly equally problematic programs. Although you have personally helped me improve my impression of Oregon, until you visited this forum, I never would have put integrity and Oregon in the same sentence.
As I said, you’ve changed my opinion so don’t jump on me. Just be glad that Ohio State is there to take the spotlight.
Jim, I couldn’t agree with you more. Had the tOSU thing not happened this spring …. it would have been all Oregon …. all the time. I am not blind to the fact that Oregon probably has some skeletons in the closet. In fact almost all (if not all) major football programs probably do. Oregon came from a “good” program under Mike Bellotti to a “great’ program under Chip Kelly. I would not doubt for one second that some of our guys have probably traded gear and signatures for tattoos. Unfortuately, the NCAA is a very fickle organization and they will use tOSU to make an example of a systemic problem. Oregon may very well be used in the same way to bring attention to the street agents. As far as Integrity and Oregon in the same sentence …. I think that it is a lot easier to have a “good” program with integrity than it is to have a “great” program with it. A “good” program will be filled with a bunch of local guys and maybe a couple of studs that you were able to snag from within your regional conference (California). A great program is usually able to recruit guy nationally (this is still somewhat new for Oregon). tOSU has been at this “National” level for many years. Oregon has always recruited guys out of California …. but now we get them out of Texas, Florida, etc, as well. Unfortunately these 4-5 star recruits usually come with an entitlement price tag ….. thats what gets you in trouble.
Jim …. thanks for not running me off your blog. Although sometimes I’m sure that you want to. I enjoy the folks on here and have alot of respect for tOSU.
To all of the Dads …… “Happy Fathers Day”.
Jim,
Oregon just released quite a few docments re: Will Lyles and our recruiting process. All of the documents are linked to the webpage. Interesting stuff.
http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2011/06/oregon_football_releases_recor.html
Does open a few questions. Although I’m still trying to play along at home on this one, I think the “mentor” relationship might be a bit concerning.
I hate to say it but I think we’re at the very early stages of this thing. Next comes the NCAA letter and then we’re off and running.
Oh…and don’t worry. Would never run you off the blog. I think it’s funny that we told Gonzo back in Dec. that he’d still be here and sure enough.
Very few things look “out of ordinary” on this case thus far. I don’t like the mentor thing either. But, how are colleges suppose to know how close someones relationship is to these kids. Obviously, Oregon has been targeting Texas and we have pulled out some good players. Will Lyles scouting service profiled 140 football players and 134 of the kids were from Texas. For all I know …. maybe Lyles offered the most comprehensive collection of players from Texas and that fit with Oregons recruiting strategy. The biggest thing that I don’t like is the fact that we paid for a “National Package”. This package was not listed on his website until after the story broke. This violates the NCAA rules. The price needs to be listed and available for all universities….. At this point I don’t see how Oregon has done anything different than any other school. Oregon certaintly hasn’t spent close to what other schools pay for scouting services. I am hoping that this was started by some Texas schools justed PO’ed that Oregon was good at poaching in their back yard and the whole thing dries up and blows away.
“In your mind though, apparently Ohio State is at fault even though the dealership (and the University when they investigated at the time of the traffic violations) has records that they had Pryor’s car in for repairs. Apparently, unlike everyone else who walks into the dealership, Pryor is not allowed to drive a loaner car while his is in their shop.”
One of my good friends daughter is a Freshman at tOSU this year …… if her car breaks down and needs to be repaired should she have the bill sent to the tOSU compliance department? Welcome to the wonderful world of “The Grey Area”! I don’t think the player (uhh …Pryor?) and the University (tOSU director of NCAA compliance) did anything wrong. It looks to me that they probably found a loophole and exploited it. What is the definition of “family emergency”?
I have to disagree with you Jim ….. this “grey area” is not worse then or on par to the major infractions that tOSU is dealing with. At most …. the NCAA deals with the grey areas by hitting you with a minor infraction and the clarifying the rule.
http://www.10tv.com/live/content/teninvestigates/stories/2011/07/15/story-ohio-state-university-athlete-car-repair.html?sid=102
I just read a great article on JT on another site. http://www.the-ozone.net/football/2011/Tressel_Pryor_Mentor.html. It is well worth reading.
I really need to put “like” buttons on the comments.
A story that applauds the “character” of JT and TP! It is the lack of said “character” that got tOSU into this mess. This is almost like we are living in Alice in Wonderland. I guess if we say it enough …. then it must be true. This story is laughable ….thanks for the joke Carl!
Tony, The story attests to the character and the rlationship between players and JT. Even though his players screwd up and JT screwd up by not forwarding the e-mails and telling the NCAA the truth, there is still a bond between them. I didn’t write the story, don’t shoot the messenger.
I quess Oregon does not have that kind of relationship between players and coaches.
It’s not a fairy a joke it’s fact. I don’t know why you have a hard time believing it.
I suppose they should hate each other for eternity, or hire a hit man. Your not a hater your just not a believer.
Carl … this story is not about the relationship between TP and JT. It is about the character and integrity of these two individuals. For example ….. “I’ve represented a lot of players in the NFL and this young man has got character”. This is where I call BS. Their “character” has been called into question and that is why neither one of them are associated with tOSU anymore. If I were to give a one word description of the ‘relationship” of JT and TP than it would be – enable. I’m just saying …… I hate to see people re-write history. tOSU is mired in muck right now because some players and the coach showed a LACK of “character”. I personally would hope that neither TP nor JT would have any ill feelings towards each other. I think it is a great learning experience for both.
This is a “teachable moment” for any young person following this story. We don’t applaud someones “character” when they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. At this point in time we should be upset with the decisions that both people have made. We all have redeemable qualities and if they can make good decisions in the future than they will have an opportunity to regain our trust. But get real ….. this story comes out less than a week after he quits the team because of his violations ….. and this writer holding TP and JT up as the pillars of “character”! laughable and insulting to all us. We need better role models of “characters’ than this.
How ’bout LeBron James? Now there’s an Ohio man just blistering with integrity. Oh, wait, Isn’t he friends with Terrell?…..scratch that, I’ll try and think of another one…..
LeBron? You’re holding him up as a representative of Ohio? I’m not much of an NBA fan but there are plenty of Ohioians who will be glad to fill you in on their thoughts about LeBron James.
Also need to be clear that I never defended TP’s integrity. I think he is a very obvious symptom of much bigger problems — ie. the way we place very young athletes on very high pedestals. One of the reasons I don’t really get into the high school recruiting scene is that as a former teacher, I have seen the impact it can have on a kid way to young and immature for the attention he receives. Priorities tend to get skewed very quickly.
Clarrette is an excellent example. He had to sit on the sidelines and watch his friend LeBron get the world handed to him on a platter (remember the pay per view h.s. games?) because he choose to play football and not basketball.
Let’s cut to the chase, Jim. Terrell Pryor was courted and highly recruited by tOSU and Jim Tressell. If integrity was clearly a part of Jim Tressell’s football program, he would have never allowed this obvious cancer into his “inner circle”.
Even after this “cancer” was made obvious to everyone else, (the OSU fan base) Tressell still refused to take off his blinders, continued to make excuses for him and eventually lied for him and 4 other would be ineligible players on this team.
You can play that integrity card all you want when referring to Jim Tressell, but the bottom line is this, whether it was tottally his decisions and his decisions alone that put him in this position, (doubtful) or a combined effort, (likely) he was still very much involved, if not more than anyone else.
Integrity is a word that’s used in this day and age like God. People just like to use it when it’s (1) convenient for them (2) makes the story sound more believable (3) gives more substance to their overall story (4) Allows them or the person of topic to look more credible (5) All of the above.
Maybe the best way to describe Jim Tressell off the field is he simply hasn’t let his guard down until now. I mean after all, If we’re going to talk facts here, rather than just some theory certain people in the fan base choose to believe, then I’m assuming that theory is just as good as the next one.
The biggest difference between my theory and yours is that mine is based on 10 years of watching and studying Coach Tressel – the last five or so includes writing about him on this blog.
No offense but your theory comes from your observations of the last 6 months or so.
Although yes, Pryor has had his trouble, let’s maintain a little perspective. Cancer? I don’t think so. He’s a kid put in a very abnormal situation.
The definition of cancer here would be the entitlement type personality/attitude Pryor has toward himself and his roll with the football team. The same personality/attitude Tressell condoned for 3 years by simply ignoring the possible outcome.
Other top recruits see this and follow suit. OSU slowly, but surely, becomes USC. See how that works?
Without going back to look at the article Tony, didn’t the bill for the “National Package” also coincide with one of the recruits decisions to go to Oregon – three weeks after?
I don’t know about you but I sense a “come to Jesus” moment just over the horizon.
GonzoHog. Tony tQD, Jim, and others …
What is the deal? You see football players enticed to attend a particular school, to exercise their sport talent for fans in the quest of besting other athlete assemblies in a contest, yet you seem to ignore basic fundamental realities:
* These young men just began to vote, opted for “safer wars” than some of their classmates, and still aren’t legal to enjoy the finer points of the Glenlivet with me.
* They have been top doggies where they are from, and are told so probably every moment they are awake
* Their version of reality is sooooooo far from the paying fan base’s, it’s comical (which is ‘lost’ on both parties)
I do not. I see them for what they are — young men who would benefit from solid adult role models. Those role models are few and far between.
Given all that, it truly reduces down to this = what one school puts on the field is no secret to the school they are playing that day, AND, both schools are looking to kick the other’s behind.
Those not delivering the butt-kicking need to choose what to do next. Some choose wrong, and continue to receive butt-kickings. Some choose inappropriately, kick lots-o-butt, then pay the price for improprieties.
All the rest (between rivals) is just so much crying ….
kilt1iron …. i don’t believe that I have ever agreed with you more.
Kilt,
I think you’re getting at what I’ve tried to express so many times on this blog over the years. We are putting these kids, and they are kids, in a very unusual situation. We take a 17-year-old kid (or even younger), tell them that pretty much everything they do is secondary to Football (academics, discipline, etc) and expect them to make the right choices. Some do but many do not.
The car deal turned out to be a big nothing. I just saw on ESPN that all 25 car deals were all legal. Sports Illustrated blew it again, that story they were so proud of is coming apart at the seams.
This is a good thing, gulf . The more investigating that goes into this story, the more facts we’ll learn, good or bad.
You can’t expect the national media not to jump all over this. They will make a small curable tumor into full fledged cancer. That’s just what they do.
You can thank Jim Tressell for all the attention.
GonzoHog — are you referring to “this story” as the debacle that is/was SI? And, then, did you mean “can expect” v. “can’t expect” the national LibTard Media to jump on something small and make it grotesque?
It’s early and the coffee was substandard (my fault) …..
kilt1iron-The only thing worse than the “national LibTard Media” is the “local FameTard media”. It is amazing to see how these local Oregon columnists are coming out of the woodwork to try to stake the Ducks to the ground. Many of these columnists aren’t even sports writers. In their pursuit to get national attention they are making assumptions and “creating stories” instead of simply reporting about them. When did the lines get blurred between CBS show “60 minutes” and regular reporting (who, what, when, where, why)? It is like the local paper has become one big biased blog.
On another note – tOSU and Oregon …..please slide over and make room for the Tar Heels.
Unfortunately, get used to it Tony.
The media never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Don’t be too quick to give SI credit. All they did was publish an AP story. Notice that the front page of SI still has a photo of Tressel and a link to a story “The Jim Tressel Mess: How deep it went.”
There’s another post in the NC/Auburn and other revelations of the past few days. We’ll see if I can get to it. This is supposed to be my off season.
Right now, North Carolina is making tOSU look like saints. I’m wondering just how many of those illegal practices did ‘ol Butch learn in his time running the show at The U?
Hell, North Carolina isn’t even that good from what I’ve seen, but I suppose you have to cheat when you’re playing second fiddle to the basketball program.
Anyhow, see ‘ya, Butch. It’s been real.
So who does NC go after now, Tressell? Maybe put a little “integrity” back into the program?
Whats up with Portlands facination with tOSU basketball players? First – Greg Oden …. and now – Jon Diebler?
There great players of course. Diebler is the all time leading three point shooter.
Ohio State is not only a football school, they are a great basketball school as well.
Don’t thank me. Thank Rob Kitchel. This kid at Purdue of all places has manufactured this type of video for four years now.
This video is step one in the healing process for me, because I expected it. Step two is picking up my last season ticket as a student. Step three is smashing Akron. Step four, finally, is watching haters pound sand for the rest of the year. Go Bucks.
