Annapolisbuckeye featured in CSTV.com battle of the blogs

While still realing from the news of Bo Schemblecher’s death, the game will go on. We can comfort ourselves in the knowledge that Woody and Bo will be watching, pacing those great sidelines in the sky, united once again in great rivalry.

If you haven’t been following it, CSTV.com has been featuring a “Battle of the Blogs” pitting an Ohio State blogger against a Michigan blogger. In today’s (Friday) “Battle” I take on Brian Cook of Mblog as we answer the question, “Which school has the better tradition.”

It should be said that I did not know who I would “battle” nor did I see his response before writing. I will let you decide who won but in the second half of the response, he takes a response that I struggled with when asked to write on that topic.

Brian discusses there wouldn’t be a Michigan tradition without an Ohio State. As I wrote, I found it hard not to consider the role of Michigan in what makes a great Ohio State tradition. I think it would have been interesting to get together before the “battle” and agree to agree on one thing.

Check out the debate. I’ll let you decide for yourself who won.

You do realize that we just had our 200th consecutive crowd of 100,000+, right? I don’t know where this Buckeye myth of a half-full Michigan Stadium comes from, but you’ve all run with it this week for reasons unknown.

Although I can’t figure out your comment about a half empty UM stadium, you still win because your “battler” assumed that you would somehow say screw all the records of Michigan and tell us how great all the records for Ohio State would be. Just for thinking that thought, he loses.

However, your post did give me chills and brought a tear to my eye regarding Carmen Ohio. Well written but let Jill or I proof read the next time?
