I just came across this and it is just too good to pass by. Apparently it was on the Jay Leno show recently.
In a 2002 story about Packer defensive end Joe Johnson leaving the Saints, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal (online) had this to say:
Once the heart and soul of the Saints, an eager contributor to the community, an eight-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowl player and arguably the best player on the entire team, Johnson was let go in an ugly business move after last season.
Twenty-two NFL quarterbacks had felt his sack.
What more is there to say?
